Our Story
Much & Sham Civils (ITS) PTY (Ltd) is a civil construction company that is 100% black woman owned. Much & Sham Civils is a specialist road construction and asphalt surfacing company in Eastern Cape that has been operating since 2007. Although we are based in Eastern Cape, we operate in all South Africa’s provinces in an effort to become the preferred road construction and asphalt surfacing company in the SADC region.
Much & Sham Civils operates a road surfacing division and a plant hire division.

Experience
Much & Sham Civils is sub-divided into two divisions, construction division and plant hire.
The construction division specialises in surfacing and road maintenance including:
- Upgrade of roads from gravel to asphalt (tar).
- Milling (removal) of old asphalt and resurfacing.
- Bulk earthworks.
- Concrete works, including bridges.
- Brick paving and kerbing road maintenance.
- Routine road maintenance, pothole patching, grass cutting, guardrails repairs, fencing, and road markings.
- Road rehabilitation.
Our plant hire division supplies the following equipment:
- Vogel asphalt paver
- Ride-on roller
- Pneumatic rollers
- Pedestrian rollers
- Plate compactors
- Bitumen sprayers
